A new place opened in the last few days. They serve a variety of food styles as the name implies that include pho, sushi, Thai curries, steak and vermicelli dishes. This place is very close to the Ox Head restaurant, which is just a few doors away.
The decor is dark and fancy. They have booths lit by blue-green neon accents. Chopsticks, a spoon, a fork and a cloth napkin are standard settings when you sit down.
Pho is available in two sizes, small ($7.95) and medium ($8.95). Tea is charged separately at $2.25 per person. Vermicelli dishes are $14 to $15. Thai curries range from $14 to $16 depending on the selected meat. Shrimp spring rolls, served in a large martini glass, are $5.25 for two.
Spiciness levels are available from 0 to 10, with the default being 3.
According to the menu, the chef's name is Thi Lim, which probably accounts for the name of the restaurant, too.

A busy little Vietnamese restaurant in the south end of Kanata located within one of the many strip malls along Hazeldean Rd. Their menu contains a variety of dishes which include pho, rice dishes, and vermicelli. The decor was simple, and the tables and chairs unassumingly basic. The atmosphere was bustling as patrons were standing by the door waiting for tables to open up.
The Pho soups come in S,M,L, but the specialty soups only come in M.
Hours are from 11am to 10pm daily. There is some parking within the strip mall.

This place is tucked away in a pedestrian-only shopping complex and the address and map link above does not really help you find it if you're not familiar with the area. So here are some directions. On the 417 highway near the Terry Fox exit, you can see an AMC movie theatre building. If you go to the theatre building entrance and face outward, you can see the Ox Head a little to your left.
The place has been open for a couple of years and describes itself as serving "Vietnamese Authentic Food." They've recently put out a new menu with a new numbering system but dishes look similar if not the same as before.

This is a very small restaurant in a strip mall across the street from Alcatel (on the corner of Terry Fox Dr). It is actually billed as a Chinese / Vietnamese restaurant, so they have both types of cuisine on the menu. There are less than a dozen soup varieties, although they also have your usual starters, plus rice dishes and vermicelli dishes. They also have a reasonable selection of Canadian-Chinese sounding dishes.

THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED
Pho in Kanata? Yes. This is the second place that serves pho, the other being close to the Alcatel office.
It's a new restaurant built in a new strip mall. There's an soon-to-be Asian grocery store next door, with an "opening soon" sign in the window.
Their hours are 11AM to 9PM daily.
The menu is small, but good variety: spring rolls, pho, rice plates and bun. For drinks, there is a variety of smoothies and iced coffee. Pho prices are $5.95 for a small bowl and $7.95 for a large.
The most interesting feature is a "create your own" pho, with your choice of up to three "toppings" from a selection list of medium-rare beef, well-done beef, chicken, beef meatballs, and beef tripe.
