This place is CLOSED. Another place called Koi Asia is now in that location.

This is in a small strip mall in back of a Pizza Hut.

A medium soup costs $6 and a large is $7. Two spring rolls cost $3.25. They also serve a variety of appetisers, bun ($7 to $8), steamed rice dished (most around $7 to $8, and up to $11 for some dishes containing jumbo shrimp). Plates of rice wraps and contents are $10 to $14.

Hours are from 11AM to 9PM every day except on Mondays when they close at 4PM.

This place is CLOSED. Or maybe just the name is changed. See Hoang Vietnamese Bistro for the latest incarnation of this restaurant.

This place is across the street from the New Mee Fung and is upstairs. If this sounds familiar, then you are correct because it is the same space that used to be called Pho Rua Vang. Once again, it is upstairs in the same building as another pho restaurant although there is no apparent connection between the two.

Pho Hoaing Linh has the usual selection of spring rolls and other appetisers, beef noodle soups, buns (rice vermicelli), rice dishes, and some rice paper roll ups. There's also a selection of drinks if you are into that.

This restaurant is closed. Pho'licious is now in that location.

Pho Sai Gon.... is gone. A new Pho restaurant with new owners and staff is in its place. The decor has been updated, and the door no longer scrapes along the floor as you enter the restaurant. Even a table was placed in the cramped patio area (I don't want to ask if it's legal to put a table there). The menu looks surprisingly similar to the old restaurant's, although I can't be sure, a lot of the pho restaurants in town do serve the same soups.

Mee Xim

This place is CLOSED! Another restaurant, Thu Do, now occupies this address

781 Somerset Street W

A smallish place that is right in the heart of Chinatown. The decor is simple to non-existant, with regular diner-style table and chairs. Street parking only.

The menu is varied, with many specials, appetizers, and specialty drinks. Most soups are one size, with prices around $6. Drinks are mostly a reasonable $2.

A small place and fairly new. The menu is medium size with lots of pho and other soups, bun and rice roll-ups. Prices are on the low side. Small pho is $5, mediums are $5.75 or $6. The menu, though, only lists prices for mediums. Serving sizes are on the small side, however. A large bowl here looks to be the same as a medium elsewhere.

Decor is sparse and low key (except for the Merry Christmas banner, and that looked out of place on January 25)

It's open daily except Tuesdays.

This place, also called The Golden Turtle Restaurant, is across the street from the well known and very busy New Mee Fung. It is up the stairs from another restaurant, although there is no apparent connection between the two.

Their menu is quite large and cheap with prices mostly ranging in the $6 range. There is only a limited selection of soup sizes though - some have L and XL to choose from, while others are only one size.

UPDATE: As noted by one of the commenters, this place is CLOSED. See Pho Hoang Linh for another restaurant that has opened at the same address.

Pho Bo

Somerset St. W, between Breezehill and Bayswater
Map (approximate; address not accurate)

This restaurant has been renamed to New Pho Bo

This is a smallish place "over the bridge" as we say, across from a large Asian grocery store before Bayswater. It's fairly easy to find street parking, as it doesn't seem particularly busy - at least during lunch hour.

Their menu has the usual selection of beef soups, and a whole section of soups in seafood broth. There are a few selections featuring BBQ pork and/or shrimp, some with rice and a few with egg noodles, and a couple with sate broth; however these were only under the seafood section. The usual appetizers are there, as well as a selection of shakes, bubble teas, and coffees.

This is a small place near the corner of Somerset and Lebreton, kind of inset from the street a little. Their signage is not prominent, which has the effect of hiding it from plain view.

They actually have two menus, Chinese, which has your usual variety of Szechuan and Cantonese dishes, and Vietnamese, which has Vermicelli and Roll-Ups as well as the soup.

Their soups are mostly the various beef combinations, although there are a few with shrimp and pork. They are also mostly one size only, although some of the beef soups come in sm, med, and lg. They of course have the usual appetizers, as well as some shakes and iced coffees.

Soup prices range from $4.25 through $5.95

Their hours are:
Sunday - Thursday: 11am to 10pm
Friday & Saturday: 11am to 11pm

Pho in Kanata? Yes. This is the second place that serves pho, the other being close to the Alcatel office.

It's a new restaurant built in a new strip mall. There's an soon-to-be Asian grocery store next door, with an "opening soon" sign in the window.

Their hours are 11AM to 9PM daily.

The menu is small, but good variety: spring rolls, pho, rice plates and bun. For drinks, there is a variety of smoothies and iced coffee. Pho prices are $5.95 for a small bowl and $7.95 for a large.

The most interesting feature is a "create your own" pho, with your choice of up to three "toppings" from a selection list of medium-rare beef, well-done beef, chicken, beef meatballs, and beef tripe.

A fairly small place that is similar in character to Pho Thu Do.

The menu is small, but does contain some non-soup items like spring rolls, bun (meat, spring rolls and/or veggies on rice vermicelli) and some dishes on rice, like grilled chicken. Drinks are available, for example milkshakes and iced coffees.

Prices are very reasonable with small bowls of pho for $4.29 and larges for $5.79.
